About me

My family bought our forever home here in Edmonds in 2021. When we were looking for a home, it was Edmonds or bust. We felt that strongly that this was the community for us.

I look out my window and can see our neighborhood park and peeks of Puget Sound. It’s a daily reminder how extraordinary our town is in terms of natural beauty and the profound obligation we have to safeguard the environment. From the fresh air we breath to the grass beneath our feet, our green spaces are sacred. As your Port Commissioner, I will always be advocating for both you and our natural environment. It’s personal for me; I’m a mom of two boys, ages 4 and 1. The choices we make today will have long lasting implications for them and many generations to come.

While I’m originally from Florida, with time spent in Virginia and Washington DC, my husband, Jordan, is an Edmonds native. He likes to joke that he was born in Edmonds, plans to die in Edmonds, and that someday people will look back and assume folks of today never moved. In our free time we like to travel, hike, camp, cook together, look for bugs in the backyard and enjoy all of the Edmonds community events.

I have volunteered with the Edmonds Arts Festival for the last three years and with Moms Demand Action, most recently as an Elections Lead in 2023. In addition to my progressive values and passion for this community, I bring to the table over a decade of experience as an accounting professional, most of that serving as a Chief Financial Officer in the nonprofit sector. I hold a Master of Business Administration and a degree in Accounting, both from the University of South Florida. In past years I worked as a licensed Certified Public Accountant. I think my best qualities are my ability to bring people together, active listening, a good sense of humor, and a curiosity to keep learning.
